Vita

Tobias Hauser was born in Waldshut-Tiengen, Germany. He studied education and psychology in Freiburg, before he began to work as a freelance photographer and photojournalist. Over the years he has developed his own unique photographic style, which is unmistakable. His technically brilliant and lovingly conceptualized photos, especially the portraits, impart a particular intimacy, a recognizable closeness to the people, which is characterized by Hauser’s many travels throughout the entire world.

His work has been published by various publishing houses (incl. National Geographic, Geo-Buchreihe, Bruckmann, Stürz, Kunth, Rosenheimer, Karl Baedeker) and in magazines (e.g. National Geographic, GEO, Dumont, HB Bildatlas, abenteuer & reisen, ADAC spezial). His most recent publication is a book of photography entitled “New Zealand—Paradise at the End of the World.”

In addition to country portraits, Hauser also works with industrial contracts, company portraits, and image brochures, which also demonstrate his exceptional ability to work with people and find personally oriented solutions. Tobias Hauser’s works are represented by the photography agency laif in Cologne, Germany,which is one of the most renowned and internationally active agencies for photography and reports worldwide. He is also a member of the ”Gesellschaft für Bild und Vortrag (Society for Photography and Lectures).”
